How to get the latest free stuff

If the latest free stuff we've found isn't enough for you, there are a couple of ways you can become a freebie hunter yourself.

We use a lot of apps, websites and vouchers to get free stuff. Arm yourself with these quick tips to find and claim more freebies.

  1. Set up an alias email address

It's a good idea to set up a new (alias) email address for freebies if you don’t want info or spam emails about each company sent to you.

You can then use this as your email when they ask for your details in order to get the freebie.

There's more advice on how to do this here.

  2. Look out for birthday freebies

Is there anything better than getting presents on your birthday? The answer is yes, getting freebies on your birthday.

Everyone from restaurants and bars to high street retailers want to celebrate your big day with you and you can find out which ones in our birthday freebies list.

  3. Sign up to company newsletters

You never know when a company will be running a giveaway and whilst you might not want to sign up to hundreds of newsletters you could pick a few of your favourites. Don't forget to use your alias email address.

We try to keep an eye out for as many as possible but you never know what we might miss. Just don't forget to let us know about any you do find.

  4. Go in-store for product samples

It's true that you can get a lot of online freebies but don't forget what you can get offline too.

Supermarkets and restaurants love to hand out freebies of their latest products.

Brands love to reach students too so they'll hand out free stuff on your campus or your nearest city centre.

  5. Join loyalty programmes

This one is only useful if you shop at a certain store a lot.

If they have a loyalty card or programme don't put off signing up. It can take a long time to build up points but the rewards can be great.

You can find out exactly what you can get your hands on here.

  6. Take online surveys

Use your free time to get free stuff, like vouchers and even Paypal payouts. It's as good as free money.

We've reviewed all the best survey sites so you don't have to do the research.

  7. Download supermarket cashback apps

This is our insider tip on getting free stuff every single time you go to the supermarket.

Download all of the supermarket cashback apps we have featured in our guide and you'll enjoy endless free food.

  8. Enter competitions

We love a good competition. You can see how to enter them and earn money here.

You never know, you might become a professional comper.

Now you should be equipped to chase down freebies yourself. Just don’t forget if you’ve found a freebie and think it needs to be shared, get in touch!
